Steelers

I finished up the last 2 Superbowl logos and the Steelers logo last night. A couple of circles need to be routed out next and then the doors will get shaped to match the design the customer wants.

Another Family Crest Underway

Tonight I glued up some oak to form the door blanks for the first I two family crests I am making this month.



Next will be a surface planing to flatten out the doors and then I'll transfer the pattern onto the wood for the routing process.

Heading towards the finish line

A couple coats of polyurethane is all this needs and then it's out the door early next week.

Almost Done

Well this is taking a little longer than expected but I am almost at the finish line! One more coat of red and blue and them the black shadowing left.

Steelers Engraving

This cabinet will be all about the Pittsburg Steelers. There is still a fair amount of work needed on the doors but it's starting to look like something.

Progress slow but steady

The last week and few days has been a little hectic and I've found it hard to get in as much time as I would like on the cabinets. I am hoping this week proves a little easier so I can get back ok track.

I have the engraving patterns laid out for the Steelers cabinet and they should be engraved by tomorrow so pictures will be posted at that point.
