Another family crest

This is another family crest piece that I started working on. It is also ready for surface planing.

Regan crest

The engraving is finished and tonight the black paint was applied.



Tomorrow the doors will go through the surface planer and then be prepped for assembly and finishing.

The first half of the doors was engraved tonight.



The darkness in the wood is from the image transfer and will go away once I run the door through the surface planer.

Shop Report

My updates have been sparse over the last few weeks because I've been working 10+ hour days on the jobsite. This weekend I plan on having lots of time to catch up on the work going on in the shop so there should be several updates coming over the next few days.
