Update and Johnnie Walker cabinet

There has been a long gap between posts and I need to apologize for that! I can only attribute it to laziness on my part when it comes to updating my website. It doesn't mean I have been slacking off on cabinets though!

I'll have to gather up pictures of the last several cabinets that were shipped out and do one large update.

This is an update on the latest cabinet I'm working on for Robert R.. I have the cabinet down in the basement shop where it's about 75% done regarding the staining so there should be another update forthcoming this weekend. I promise! I will be cramping the whip on the web guy to hold up his end of the business ;)

Ready for staining

The latest cabinet is moving into the finishing room for the application of stain and polyurethane.

Completed

This project is finished and has already been shipped out and delivered. There is a shelf ( not shown here ) that will be attached to the bottom of the scoreboard frame.

Staining complete

The stain has been applied to all the various pieces of the VFW 3579 order. After 3 coats of polyurethane and final assembly the order should be ready to ship out by the end of the weekend.

Latest project

Well it sure has been a long time since I've updated my blog or website. It doesn't mean I haven't been making cabinets. There are at least half a dozen new cabinets I need to add to the gallery when I get time to update things.

The current project is about 60% complete and will be shipping out to a VFW hall. Check it out.

It features a carving placed in the center of the engraved details.


There is a matching score board frame that will ship out with the cabinet.
